Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Puteri Indonesia Foundation (YPI) together with PT Netzme Kreasi Indonesia (Netzme) is strengthening its commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles through a collaboration on the Women Empowerment Journey Crown of Impact x the 5th Motion Challenge (Mocha) programme as part of the Puteri Indonesia 2026 selection process.

The programme was attended by 45 Puteri Indonesia 2026 finalists and held at the Teater Wahyu Sihombing, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/4).

During the event, the finalists presented advocacy programme designs judged for their impact and sustainability, while being guided to build social models that can continue to operate, rather than just one-off charity activities.

“Through the Crown of Impact x The 5th Mocha event, the finalists are not only tested on their ideas but also on their ability to design advocacy programmes with sustainability and long-term relevance,” said Kusuma Anjani in an official statement on Wednesday.

In the competition, Cheryl Lidia Regar, a finalist from East Kalimantan, won the Best Advocacy award through her initiative for the circular economy platform CIRO WASTE or CIROES, which offers efficient waste management while creating economic value.

As the winner, Cheryl receives investment support and direct mentoring from Netzme so that the programme can continue as a real movement in society.

CEO of PT Netzme Kreasi Indonesia, Vicky Ganda Saputra, said the collaboration aims to encourage the finalists to create advocacy with measurable and sustainable impact.

“We want to encourage the finalists not to just run ordinary advocacy initiative programmes where the impact is difficult to measure maximally,” said Vicky.

In addition to strengthening advocacy ideas, the event also included public communication training. Public Speaking Coach from TalkUp.id, Janu Saputra, stated that the ability to convey ideas is an important aspect in building sustainable social programmes.

“A founder is a communicator. Without the ability to convey ideas accurately, big ideas will only remain as potential,” he said.

The event is a collaboration between YPI, Mustika Ratu Entertainment, Netzme, and Talk Up Indonesia to promote a sustainability-based advocacy paradigm and strengthen the social economy.

Meanwhile, the public can follow the finalists’ journey through the YouTube channel UP NOW Media by Mustika Ratu Entertainment, as well as provide support through official voting on vote.puteri-indonesia.com until the Grand Final night of Puteri Indonesia 2026, scheduled for Friday, 24 April 2026.

Kusuma Anjani hopes that this initiative can continue to develop into a sustainable agenda to strengthen a collaborative and broadly impactful women’s advocacy ecosystem.

“The Puteri Indonesia Foundation opens opportunities for synergy with various parties who have the same vision and commitment, especially in promoting the implementation of ESG principles,” said Kusuma.
