Purworejo villages hit by flooding

PURWOREJO, Central Java (JP): At least eight villages in Butuh
district here were hit by floods when a reservoir lying adjacent
to the Gebang Besar river collapsed.

The head of Purworejo administrative district, Giritno, told
The Jakarta Post that thousands of residents in the villages of
Wironantan, Dlangu, Gerbangrejo, Kedung Mulyo, Rowodadi,
Sidomulyo, Kedungsari and Kedungsri were affected.

No casualties were reported. (29/45)
