Purwakarta Official Found Dead with Multiple Wounds at His Home

The Head of Regional Asset Management at the Financial and Asset Agency (BKAD) of Purwakarta Regency, Yogi Saleh, was found dead in his home. When discovered, Yogi’s body was covered in wounds.

The man was found deceased at his residence in Kampung Karangsari, Citalang Village, Purwakarta District, on Sunday (14/6/2026).

The victim was first discovered by his wife, WU (38), who had just returned home that night after taking their child to a graduation ceremony at a hotel in Purwakarta.

During the crime scene investigation, officers found a number of wounds on the victim’s body. The findings were disclosed by the Head of Public Relations for the West Java Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan.

“Officers found several wounds suspected to be from a sharp weapon on the victim’s body, including one laceration on the solar plexus, two lacerations on the left side of the neck, two lacerations on the right side of the neck, and one laceration in the middle of the neck,” Hendra said, as quoted by detikJabar on Tuesday (16/6/2026).

In addition to wounds suspected to be from a sharp weapon, officers also found ligature marks on the victim’s neck and bruises on other parts of the body.

“There were ligature marks on the neck and bruises on both the right and left knees, as well as bruises on the inner ankles,” he stated.
