Purwakarta Government Deploys Civil Servants for Kerb Painting Ahead of Independence Day
The Purwakarta Regency Government organised a kerb painting activity along dozens of roads, deploying hundreds of employees from 28 Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD), including the Public Works, Environment, and Communication and Informatics agencies, on Thursday (6/8). Head of the Communication and Informatics Agency, Hendra Fadly, stated that approximately 20 road sections had their kerbs repainted as part of the Independence Day commemoration. “There are several missions in this activity. First, to establish camaraderie and cohesiveness among employees and between OPDs. Second, to enhance the beauty of Purwakarta’s roads to provide comfort to the public. Lastly, to set a direct example for the community to jointly maintain and care for Purwakarta,” he said. The Communication and Informatics Agency, tasked with the section from Jalan RE Martadinata to the BTN intersection, deployed nearly all of its civil servants and contract workers. They began the activity at 7:30 AM WIB until completion. “Hopefully, the spirit of protecting and caring for the environment can be carried out sustainably and become an example for the community. Everyone must move with the spirit of maintaining, caring for, and building Purwakarta towards a more beautiful, comfortable, and serene city,” Hendra concluded.
