Confidence and optimism, he continued, must be accompanied by clear and realistic measures. “What Mr Purbaya must fulfil is to focus on carrying out his duties well. Measured confidence and optimism. As best as possible in managing the state’s finances,” he explained. Anas also emphasised the importance of the government’s openness to receiving input, including criticism that may feel uncomfortable. “One way is to be willing and brave enough to accept beneficial ideas and thoughts.
