Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa announced that the government is offering a range of facilities to attract investors to the Indonesian International Financial Centre (PFII), including tax breaks and Golden Visas. The statement was made during a Working Committee Meeting on the PFII Bill in Jakarta on Monday, 20 July 2026. Purbaya explained that the PFII Bill specifically contains a series of tax facility arrangements and other special facilities aimed at attracting investment. The tax facilities themselves include income tax facilities, value-added tax facilities, luxury goods sales tax, and customs facilities. In addition to tax facilities, Purbaya stated that the government is also preparing other special facilities. “Other special facilities include the Golden Visa, immigration, employment, licensing, and residency. There are also specific arrangements, such as language provisions, namely the use of English,” he said. Purbaya also expressed his hope that these various facilities, in line with the establishment of the PFII Law, would make a positive contribution to strengthening the national economy, enhancing the role of the financial sector in supporting development, and expanding economic opportunities to strengthen national economic sovereignty and realise the welfare of the Indonesian people.
