Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa again personally presided over the hearing on the report filed to the debottlenecking channel, the official complaints channel of the Task Force for Accelerating Government Programs (P2SP), which has now been renamed the Task Force for Accelerating Government Programs to Support Economic Growth (P3M-PPE), today, Tuesday 19 May 2026. The hearing will be held in the Mezzanine Hall, Ministry of Finance complex, at 10:00 WIB. According to information from the Ministry of Finance, this hearing involves complaints from two United States companies, namely the Indonesia-America Water Company (PAIA) and the Indonesia America Resort Company (PRIA). From CNBC Indonesia’s investigations, PAIA, also known by its trade name IAWCO, is a provider and operator of clean water. The company operates in utilities investment and water treatment, including the utilisation of seawater desalination technology (Sea Water Reverse Osmosis or SWRO). Meanwhile, PT Indonesia America Resort Company (PRIA) is a property development and hospitality company known for its investments in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The hearing represents the government’s tangible step to provide legal certainty and resolve various obstacles hindering the realisation of strategic investments in Indonesia. Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa previously claimed that the Debottlenecking Task Force had helped accelerate investment realisation of more than US$30 billion, or around IDR 525 trillion, in the past six months. ‘Yes, more. More than US$30 billion. So the impact alone is US$22 billion. There are others as well. It’s quite substantial. We hope there will be even more that we will break through,’ Purbaya said.
