Purbaya: THR Disbursement for ASN to Be Completed Next Week

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the disbursement of the festive allowance (THR) for state civil apparatus (ASN) is expected to be completed within about a week. He explained that some THR payments have yet to be received by civil servants because the disbursement process is still ongoing at each agency.

‘Maybe a week from now. Most have already come out now. If the agency hasn’t requested it yet, it hasn’t been disbursed,’ he said in Jakarta on Friday, 6 March.

Purbaya noted that for central government civil servants, THR payments as of 6 March had reached around Rp3 trillion, disbursed to 631,000 employees out of a total of about 2.2 million ASN. That means some employees have not yet received or have not withdrawn.

‘That means there are those who still haven’t taken it,’ said the state treasurer.

Meanwhile, for retirees, the THR or ‘gaji ke-13’ has been disbursed amounting to Rp11.4 trillion to 3,568,570 retirees, or about 93.5% of the total recipients.

As for regional ASN, THR realisation has reached Rp127.6 billion to 16,848 employees from three local governments out of 546 across Indonesia.

‘So that’s how it is, but all are ready. It just depends on how quickly they withdraw it,’ concluded Purbaya. (E-3)
