Purbaya Reveals Danantara's Role in KSSK Coordination Meeting
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has revealed that the Danantara Investment Authority (BPI Danantara) was included in a recent coordination meeting of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK). The meeting, held at the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) office, saw the attendance of Danantara’s Chief Executive Officer, Rosan Roeslani, and Chief Operating Officer, Dony Oskaria.
Purbaya stated that Danantara’s presence was at the invitation of the KSSK, following directives from the President, to provide input from a business perspective. He emphasised that the meeting was highly dynamic, with the Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia (BI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and the LPS all agreeing to strengthen coordination going forward. The goal is to ensure that policies issued across all economic sectors are aligned to create a better economic system.
However, Purbaya clarified that Danantara’s role was solely as an invited guest and that the authority did not possess any voting rights in the committee’s decision-making process. He declined to elaborate on the specific outcomes of the meeting, stating that the results would be announced on Monday next week.
