Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has assured that the government will disburse the 13th-month salary for Civil Servants (ASN), TNI and Polri, as well as Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK), state officials, and pensioners in June 2026.

“There will be the 13th-month salary. It will definitely be disbursed,” he told reporters, quoted on Thursday (7/5/2026).

This 13th-month salary will serve as an economic booster in the second quarter of 2026. This was emphasised by Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto some time ago.

“Fiscal policy will be optimised to maintain the momentum in achieving the 2026 growth target of 5.4 percent. In addition, it will act as a buffer against global economic turbulence, including the 13th-month salary for ASN,” said Airlangga on Tuesday (5/5/2026).

The disbursement of the 13th-month salary for ASN will be carried out in accordance with Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026. According to Airlangga, the budget for it is around Rp55 trillion.

The provision of the 13th-month salary is a form of appreciation for service to the state, while still considering the state’s financial condition. The components received include basic salary, attached allowances, and performance allowances in accordance with regulations.

“The thirteenth salary is not subject to deduction of contributions and/or other deductions based on the provisions of laws and regulations,” states Article 16 Paragraph 2 of Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026, quoted on Friday (1/5/2026).

For PPPK, there are special rules in its calculation. If the tenure is less than one year, the 13th-month salary is given proportionally. Even PPPK whose tenure has not reached one month before 1 June 2026 are not entitled to receive it.

Meanwhile, CPNS funded by the APBN will receive 80% of the basic salary, plus allowances such as general allowance, performance allowance, and other facilities according to position. For regional CPNS (APBD), the components received are similar, but can be added with other income according to each region’s fiscal capacity.

For leaders, members, and non-ASN employees in non-structural institutions, the amount of the 13th-month salary has been set. For leaders of non-structural institutions, for example, the chair or head receives around Rp31.4 million, deputy chair Rp29.6 million, and secretary and members each Rp28.1 million.

Meanwhile, officials at echelon I level receive around Rp24.8 million, echelon II Rp19.5 million, echelon III Rp13.8 million, and echelon IV Rp10.6 million.

For non-ASN employees based on education level, the amount varies. Graduates from primary to junior secondary school can receive from Rp4.2 million to Rp5 million depending on tenure. High school to diploma I graduates range from Rp4.9 million to Rp5.8 million.

Meanwhile, diploma II to III graduates receive around Rp5.4 million to Rp6.5 million. Diploma IV or bachelor’s degree holders can receive Rp6.5 million to Rp7.8 million, and for master’s to doctoral degrees, it ranges from Rp7.7 million to Rp9 million, depending on tenure.

Here is the breakdown of the 13th-month salary paid from the APBN:
