Purbaya Meets Head of Bappenas to Discuss Preparations for Tomorrow's Plenary Session

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa visited the office of the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) on Monday afternoon (8/6/2026). The visit was intended to prepare materials for the DPR RI Plenary Session scheduled for Tuesday (9/6/2026).

The session will address the 2027 Macroeconomic Framework and Fiscal Policy Main Points (KEM-PPKF). “I went to Bappenas to discuss preparations for speaking at tomorrow’s Plenary Session regarding the KEM-PPKF,” Purbaya stated when met by journalists at the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas on Monday.

Purbaya is scheduled to attend the Plenary Session at approximately 10:00 WIB. During his meeting with the Minister of PPN/Head of Bappenas, Rachmat Pambudi, Purbaya noted that the discussions aimed to accelerate government spending while considering regional interests to ensure optimal local economic growth.

Through these discussions, Purbaya aims to ensure that President Prabowo Subianto’s plans are effectively implemented. “We are ensuring that what President Prabowo stated in his speech to the DPR can be realised effectively. We are following all of the President’s instructions and ensuring our steps are aligned with his directives,” he added.
