Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa conducted a working visit to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and held a meeting with Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

The meeting discussed strengthening policy synergy between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, particularly in efforts to increase Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), accelerate the electrical energy self-sufficiency programme, and develop village electricity.

Purbaya emphasised the Ministry of Finance’s support for various strategic steps taken by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, especially those impacting the strengthening of the national economic foundation and improving public welfare.

“Fundamentally, every effort by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources will be supported by me,” said Purbaya on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

The Finance Minister also stressed the importance of strengthening synergy between ministries to ensure that fiscal and energy sector policies run in harmony in supporting national development.

Meanwhile, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia conveyed optimism regarding the ongoing collaboration between the two ministries in supporting the national development agenda, particularly in the energy sector and state revenue.

“I, together with the Finance Minister, discussed the symbolisation of programmes to increase PNBP and energy self-sufficiency and village electricity. I and the Finance Minister are a good team in organising the state revenue potential from ESDM,” said Minister Bahlil at the ESDM Office, Jakarta on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

Furthermore, Minister Bahlil emphasised that the management and organisation of state revenue potential in the ESDM sector need to be carried out in an integrated manner to provide optimal benefits for society and national development.

The meeting between the two ministers reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening synergy between ministries to improve the quality of state revenue, accelerate equitable access to energy, and support sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
