Purbaya Leads Hearing on Business Complaints from Garment and Shipping Investors
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa will lead a session to resolve business obstacles, known as debottlenecking, on Thursday (23/3/2026). This is the sixth open debottlenecking session. The session will be held at Aula Juanda, Gedung Juanda 1, Ministry of Finance, Central Jakarta. Based on information received, this session will discuss two companies: PT MOD INDO and PT Anugerah Cahayamas Abadi. The exact complaints from the two companies are not known. However, from CNBC Indonesia’s investigation, PT Anugerah Cahayamas Abadi is a shipping company serving the Jakarta-Pekanbaru route. Meanwhile, PT MOD INDO or Modelama India Group Company is a garment company with investors from India. The Debottlenecking Working Group, headed by Purbaya, is the official channel for conveying real obstacles faced by business actors in the field. This working group was formed to unravel investment barriers, both from regulatory, fiscal, and permitting aspects. Therefore, in every session, Purbaya will summon related parties.
