Purbaya Has Disbursed Holiday Allowances to 2.07 Million State Apparatus Personnel Worth Rp 11.16 Trillion

JAKARTA – The government has distributed the 2026 Holiday Allowance (THR) to state apparatus personnel in the central government totalling Rp 11.16 trillion as of 10 March 2026.

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that whilst civil servant holiday allowances have been disbursed, implementation may still be ongoing across various ministries and institutions.

“It is not a matter of funds being available or unavailable; sometimes the offices have not yet requested from us. That is all. Once they request, it is immediately disbursed,” Purbaya said during an inauguration ceremony in Jakarta on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

Based on realisation data through Fund Disbursement Orders (SP2D), the funds have been received by 2,076,377 employees and personnel from various central government institutions.

Subsequently, holiday allowances for Contract-Based Civil Servants (PPPK) have been distributed totalling Rp 752.82 billion to 295,054 employees.

Meanwhile, members of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) received holiday allowances totalling Rp 1.83 trillion for 461,119 personnel.

Military personnel from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) have received holiday allowances totalling Rp 2.23 trillion disbursed to 452,874 personnel.

Additionally, the government also distributed holiday allowances for non-civil service employees (PPNPN) totalling Rp 153.42 billion to 39,486 employees.

Overall, the holiday allowance payments have been processed by 8,279 work units from ministries and institutions.

On the other hand, the distribution of holiday allowances for retirees is nearly complete across the board.

As of 9 March 2026, disbursed funds reached Rp 11.54 trillion to 3,618,884 retirees, or approximately 94.63 per cent of total recipients.

The distribution was carried out through two managing institutions, namely PT Taspen and PT Asabri.

PT Taspen has distributed Rp 10.09 trillion to 3,115,324 retirees, or approximately 94.02 per cent of total recipients under its management.

Meanwhile, PT Asabri has distributed Rp 1.44 trillion to 503,560 retirees, or approximately 99.13 per cent of total recipients.

For state civil apparatus (ASN) at the regional level, holiday allowance disbursement realisation remains relatively small.

As of 9 March 2026, payments have only reached Rp 127.6 billion to 16,848 employees.

This figure has only been realised by three regional governments out of 546 regional administrations throughout Indonesia, or approximately 0.54 per cent of all regional administrations.
