Purbaya Draws Rp305.5 Trillion in April, Equal to 36.7% of 2026 Target
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said that the realisation of debt withdrawals for financing the 2026 APBN had reached Rp305.5 trillion as of the end of April 2026. That figure is equivalent to 36.7% of this year's APBN target of Rp832.2 trillion. The realisation was slightly lower than the same period last year, which stood at Rp305.9 trillion. ‘This is in line with the plan, so financing is maintained and debt financing is measured,’ Purbaya said at a press conference on APBN Performance and Facts at his office in Jakarta, on Tuesday (19 May 2026). Of the total debt financing absorbed, the government issued around Rp7 trillion in the form of non-debt financing. The amount is equivalent to 4.9% of the target for non-debt financing this year, which is Rp143.1 trillion. With these figures, Purbaya has overall realised budget financing up to end-April 2026 of Rp298.5 trillion from debt withdrawals minus non-debt financing. The budget financing realisation to cover the APBN deficit up to April 2026 had reached 43.3% of the Rp689.1 trillion target, and was slightly higher than the realisation for the same period last year of Rp281.2 trillion.
