Finance Minister and Chair of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has stressed that the role of the Daya Agata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) within the KSSK is limited to providing input. Purbaya also explained that Danantara does not have voting rights in KSSK meeting decisions. “Danantara cannot influence us (KSSK), because in decision-making, only the four principal members of KSSK have the right to make decisions,” Purbaya told reporters at the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) on Tuesday (28/7/2026). Purbaya further stated that Danantara will not have voting rights in the KSSK going forward. However, Danantara can provide input, after which the decision rests with the core KSSK members. “In the future, we will not include Danantara as a decision-maker, but we allow Danantara to provide input, because that input will enrich our information for making decisions,” he asserted. The KSSK held a limited meeting today, attended by all core members: Finance Minister Purbaya, Acting Governor of Bank Indonesia Destry Damayanti, Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Friderica Widyasari Dewi, and Chair of the Board of Commissioners of LPS Anggito Abimanyu. In addition to the core KSSK members, the meeting was also attended by Danantara executives, including Danantara CEO Rosan Perkasa Roeslani and COO Dony Oskaria.
