Purbaya: 13th Salary for Civil Servants to be Paid in June 2026

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa confirmed the 13th salary allowance for Civil Servants (ASN), benefit recipients, and pensioners will be paid in June 2026. The disbursement follows Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026 and Finance Ministry Regulation No. 13 of 2026.

The state treasurer did not specify the exact payment date for the additional allowance. ‘The 13th salary should be paid in June,’ he said after a meeting at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs office in Jakarta on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

Purbaya also did not detail the total budget allocation for the payment. Financial details, he stated, will be announced by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto. ‘The Coordinating Minister should make the announcement; I will check again,’ he said.

According to Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026 on Holiday Allowance and 13th Salary for State Apparatus, Pensioners, and Benefit Recipients, the 13th salary will be paid no earlier than June 2026.

This year’s 13th salary is granted to state personnel and pensioners as recognition for their service to the nation, considering national financial capacity. Recipients include civil servants, prospective civil servants, Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK), TNI military personnel, Indonesian National Police (Polri) members, and state officials.

The amount of the 13th salary will be based on income components paid in May 2026. For deceased or killed civil servants, TNI personnel, or Polri members receiving ongoing salaries, the 13th salary will be calculated using May 2026 income components, with costs borne by their respective ministries or institutions.
