Purbaya: 13th Civil Servant Salary Should Be Disbursed in June

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that the government will commence the disbursement of the 13th salary for civil servants in June 2026. This is confirmed under Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026, which details the schedule and amount to be received. ‘The 13th salary should be disbursed in June,’ Purbaya said at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs office on Tuesday (26 May 2026). Regarding the total budget, Purbaya said he could not yet disclose details, which should be announced by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto. For civil service retirees, state-owned enterprise TASPEN confirmed payments will commence on Tuesday, 2 June 2026, via 46 payment partners nationwide. TASPEN Corporate Secretary Henra stated that payments will be processed directly without requiring beneficiaries to submit applications or undergo re-authentication. ‘This payment reflects the nation’s appreciation for retirees’ contributions and demonstrates the government’s tangible commitment to ensuring the welfare of both active and retired civil servants,’ Henra said in a written statement on Friday (22 May 2026).
