PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has recorded a significant profit throughout 2026, driven by business transformation and corporate governance efforts aligned with the Danantara Indonesia agenda. This performance is the result of disciplined operational excellence and cost leadership under Danantara’s supervision.

Pupuk Indonesia President Director Rahmad Pribadi explained that operational efficiency and cost discipline, consistently implemented in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s administration agenda, have enabled the company to grow sustainably with or without commodity price cycle momentum.

“Thanks to government support through Danantara, the comprehensive business transformation has begun to yield results in the form of proud financial performance achievements. With an increasingly strong financial foundation, we are optimistic this growth is sustainable, not only for company performance but also for a greater contribution to national food security,” said Rahmad.

From January to June 2026, Pupuk Indonesia recorded a net profit of Rp8.51 trillion, growing 253% compared to the same period the previous year. The company posted revenue growth of Rp59.67 trillion, up 51%, with EBITDA increasing 140% to Rp14.28 trillion, driven by production volume growth and operational cost efficiency in line with the company’s transformation and business efforts.

The transformation has also strengthened Pupuk Indonesia’s business resilience through strategies that ensure the company’s performance remains adaptive and sustainable amid global economic dynamics. The company has diversified its revenue sources by strengthening the contribution of non-subsidised segments and non-fertiliser products, as well as expanding supply sources and raw material contract schemes to mitigate the impact of commodity price volatility on its cost structure.

In addition, over the past few years, Pupuk Indonesia has continued to pursue comprehensive business transformation through operational and digital excellence, strengthening holding business streamlining, public service obligation distribution, and commercial reinforcement. From a governance perspective, the transformation is supported by the issuance of Presidential Regulation Number 113 of 2025, which serves as a turning point for the company’s operational efficiency.
