PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) is collaborating with the Pupuk Indonesia Employees’ Wives Association (PIKA PI) Group to expand promotional access for supported Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through participation in Kriyanusa 2026 at the Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC) from 26–30 September 2026. This event serves as an opportunity for textile and craft MSME players to introduce their products and reach a broader consumer base.

The Director of Human Resources and General Affairs at Pupuk Indonesia, Tina T. Kemala Intan, stated that the company’s participation is part of its support for the development of the creative economy. She noted that Kriyanusa provides a space for supported MSMEs to showcase their work and gain direct experience interacting with the market.

“Pupuk Indonesia views Kriyanusa as an exhibition with a significant number of visitors, making it an ideal platform to expand the market share for products from Pupuk Indonesia Group’s partner MSMEs, particularly in textiles, fashion, and accessories,” Tina said on Monday (28/9/2026).

Pupuk Indonesia supports 3,387 MSMEs across various regions. Of this number, 289 MSMEs operate in the textile and handicraft sectors, spread across Aceh, Palembang, West Java, East Java, and East Kalimantan. At Kriyanusa 2026, 16 brands from Pupuk Indonesia’s supported MSMEs are present through the company’s booth, showcasing diverse textile and craft products with their own unique characters, marking the second time Pupuk Indonesia has participated in the event.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the PIKA-PI Group, Tata Rahmad Pribadi, ensured that the Association of Employees’ Wives of the Pupuk Indonesia Group remains committed to supporting Pupuk Indonesia’s objectives regarding local MSME empowerment. “Various programmes and creative collaborations undertaken by PIKA-PI are designed to support the Company’s goals, including the participation of supported MSMEs in Kriyanusa. PIKA-PI is also actively strengthening empowerment initiatives to ensure the sustainable growth of supported MSMEs,” she said.

In addition to the booth, products from Pupuk Indonesia’s supported MSMEs are also being introduced through the Kriyanusa 2026 fashion show stage. Twenty textile products from three MSMEs, curated by Pupuk Indonesia alongside PIKA-PI Group and designer Didiet Maulana, appeared in the “Lumbung Cahaya” fashion show as part of the Svarna by IKAT Indonesia collection. The products featured include songket, bulu weaving, and Gedog batik using natural colours to symbolise the fertility of the archipelago and sustainable harvests.

The fashion show is a collaborative effort between Pupuk Indonesia and the PIKA-PI Group, featuring the Svarna by IKAT Indonesia collection. This collaboration demonstrates that MSME textiles can be developed into high-value fashion products without losing their inherent cultural character.

The fashion show stage also serves as a space to introduce the potential of Indonesian textiles in more creative forms. Pupuk Indonesia hopes this collaboration will encourage MSME players to continue innovating in their product development. Pupuk Indonesia and Didiet Maulana share a vision of driving the progress of Indonesian MSMEs, and this collaboration is part of an effort to introduce both Indonesian products and culture to the international stage.

Pupuk Indonesia continues to drive MSME capacity building through various promotional and business development opportunities. Supported MSMEs receive not only promotional space but also opportunities to expand their networks and market experience. This step aligns with Pupuk Indonesia’s commitment to supporting national economic growth, as the MSME sector plays a vital role as a driver of the Indonesian economy.

“This activity is also part of Pupuk Indonesia’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the economic growth pillar. Support for MSMEs is expected to foster inclusive and sustainable economic growth,” Tina concluded.
