Pulomas Tower set to become productive area integrated with LRT Station
Jakarta — Pulomas Tower is slated for development as a productive area integrated with the Equestrian LRT Station, aimed at supporting Transit Oriented Development (TOD) initiatives. “With its location integrated with the Equestrian LRT Station, we hope this area can evolve into an economic activity hub that supports public mobility while strengthening TOD-based development,” stated the Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Rano Karnaya, in an official statement on Saturday.
This announcement was made during the signing ceremony for the Pulomas Tower project financing facility between PT Pulo Mas Jaya and PT Bank Mega Syariah at the Jakarta International Equestrian Park Pulomas, East Jakarta, on Friday. This collaboration is part of an effort to optimise regional assets through collaborative financing schemes.
Rano noted that Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) are required not only to maintain healthy business performance but also to act as drivers of development. The optimal utilisation of assets is expected to create added value for the city, unlock new economic activities, and improve the quality of public services.
“I welcome the signing of this financing facility as a manifestation of synergy between BUMDs and the banking sector in supporting the development of regional assets to become more productive and beneficial to the community,” said Rano. He further emphasised the importance of expanding collaboration between the government, BUMDs, and financial institutions to support Jakarta’s development. Such financing schemes serve as an alternative for developing strategic projects without relying entirely on the regional budget.
