Pulogadung Industrial Estate Develops Fibre Optic Network

JAKARTA – PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (Perseroda) is strengthening digital infrastructure in the Pulogadung Industrial Estate. This step is aimed at improving service quality and the competitiveness of the area.

The effort is being carried out through collaboration with several partners. PT JIEP has signed a Cooperation Agreement with PT Kawasan Lintas Biru Digital for the development of fibre optic networks and Information and Communication Technology services.

The company also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo. This collaboration covers the development of telecommunications networks and supporting digital services in the area.

“Strengthening the fibre optic network and ICT services in the Pulogadung Industrial Estate is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to provide the best services and facilities for tenants, while also increasing the area’s attractiveness to investors,” said Satrio in an official statement on Friday (10/4/2026).

This collaboration is expected to strengthen an industrial ecosystem that is adaptive to technological developments. Digital infrastructure is considered essential to support operational efficiency and productivity.

The availability of reliable telecommunications networks is a key factor in creating a competitive industrial estate.

“Through this collaboration, PT JIEP reaffirms its role in providing an industrial estate with adequate infrastructure, to add value for tenants and support investment growth in the Pulogadung Industrial Estate,” he concluded.

The development includes the construction of warehousing and supporting facilities. The provision of clean water infrastructure and wastewater management is also a priority.

JIEP is also developing the area’s fibre optic network. Area improvement programmes are being implemented to enhance service quality for tenants.
