Public Works Minister Wears Flip-Flops During Friday Prayer at Bima Mosque

Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo attended Friday prayers at Bima Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport Mosque in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on Friday (29 May 2026). His choice of flip-flops drew attention from worshippers at the mosque. Upon arrival, he was seen wearing a magenta-and-white checkered shirt and jeans, with black-and-white flip-flops. He and his ministry delegation performed ablutions immediately after exiting his vehicle. He had arrived at Bima Airport via private jet, accompanied by NTB Governor Lalu Muhammad Iqbal. After prayers, he inspected the construction site of a People’s School (SR) in Pandai Village, Woha District, Bima Regency. Bima is one of the locations for SR construction in NTB, alongside North Lombok.
