Public Works Minister: Toll Road Fare Discount for Eid Holidays to Be Applied for Four Days
Jakarta - Indonesia’s Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo has unveiled plans for toll road fare discount implementation lasting four days, consisting of two days during the outbound exodus and two days during the return journey.
“In general, the toll road fare discount will be implemented for four days on 15-16 March 2026 (Outbound Period) and 26-27 March 2026 (Return Period),” Dody stated in his statement in Jakarta on Monday.
Dody explained that the toll road fare discount will generally amount to approximately 30 percent for all vehicle classes and will be provided to toll road users undertaking long-distance travel (barrier gate to barrier gate), using electronic payment methods, and will not apply if the electronic payment transaction has insufficient balance or if the vehicle origin and class cannot be read.
The fare reduction over the four days on 15-16 March (Outbound Period) and 26-27 March (Return Period) applies to most segments, with exceptions including the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road (12-13 March 2026 and 31 March-1 April 2026), Kayuagung-Palembang (additional discounts on 14, 28, and 29 March 2026), and Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road (21-22 March 2026).
Additionally, the Becakayu Toll Road has been providing dynamic pricing discounts of 10-20 percent until 31 March 2026, whilst the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road has been offering discounts of 12-44 percent specifically for vehicles in Classes II-V until 30 April 2026.
Twenty-nine toll road segments will implement fare discounts during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H / 2026 M period, comprising four segments in the Jabodetabek Corridor, ten segments in the Trans-Java Corridor, four segments in the Non-Trans-Java Corridor, and eleven segments in the Trans-Sumatera Corridor.
