Public Works Minister Opens 'Halo Pak Doddy' Complaints Channel for the Public
Jakarta – Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo has opened a complaints channel called ‘Halo Pak Doddy’ to receive reports from the public regarding the ministry’s services, violations, and information about mudik. He noted that many complaints have been reported directly to his private Instagram messages, WhatsApp number, and e-mail address. He expressed gratitude to the public for their trust in reporting directly. ‘I can assure you there is a team that monitors and responds to these reports. The reports will be forwarded to the Inspectorate General and have already begun some time ago, but this is simply an official announcement. As of today I have instructed the team to serve the public via direct message (DM) on Instagram @dody_hanggodo,’ Dody said during a media gathering in Jakarta on Friday. After sending a DM on Instagram, the public will be directed to the Halo Pak Doddy portal link. ‘In addition to the portal link, you can also click the link available in my profile,’ he added. Regarding mudik, we have the Command Center for Roadworks (Bina Marga) to handle road-related complaints via WhatsApp. There is also a WhatsApp admin line for other public-service complaints related to the ministry. But both channels already existed; what is new is the creation of a single WhatsApp contact point to report all forms of violations that will be processed directly by the Inspectorate General,’ he said. Dody urged the public to supply supporting data when making reports so they can be processed more quickly by the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Public Works. He added that the complaints channel is an implementation of the President’s mandate, which instructs the ministry to root out leaks in the Ministry of Public Works.
