Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo Opens Complaints Channel 'Halo Pak Doddy': What Can Be Reported and How to Do It?
Jakarta — Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo has opened the complaints channel ‘Halo Pak Doddy’ to collect reports from the public related to the Ministry of Public Works’ services, violations and information on homecomings (mudik). He said there are many complaints and reports currently arriving directly to his private Instagram messages, his WhatsApp number, and his email. He thanked the public for their trust in reporting directly.
“I assure you that a team is already monitoring and responding to these reports. The reporting will be handled by the Inspectorate General and has been in operation for some time, but this is only an official announcement. So as of today I have instructed the team to serve the public through Instagram direct messages (DM) @dody_hanggodo,” said Dody at a media gathering in Jakarta on Friday.
“After sending a DM on Instagram, the public will then be directed to the Halo Pak Dodi portal link. ‘In addition to the portal link, you can also click the link that is in my profile bio,’ he said.”
“In the Halo Pak Dodi complaints channel, the public can access information on homecoming, complaints about violations, general complaints, and the government reporting portal.”
“Regarding homecoming, we have the Command Center Bina Marga for road-related complaints which can be contacted directly via WhatsApp. Secondly, there is the admin WhatsApp for other general service complaints related to the Ministry of Public Works. But both arrangements already existed; what is new is that I have created a single WhatsApp contact for reporting all forms of violations that will be processed directly by the Inspectorate General,” he said.
Dody also urged the public when making reports or complaints to include supporting data so that the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Public Works can process them more efficiently.
“I ask colleagues and the public at large that when reporting something, please prepare the supporting data because the Inspectorate General usually processes more properly and better if supported by valid data. The information from the reporter, God willing, will always be safeguarded and can be acted upon directly by the Inspectorate General,” he said.
