Public Works Minister: 16 Items Seized by Prosecutors During Raid, Most from Cipta Karya

Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo stated that there were 16 items seized by investigators from the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office during the raid on the Ministry of Public Works offices yesterday. The items included documents and a computer. “There are 16 items (seized), mostly notebooks, nothing else. No, mostly notebooks,” Dody said at the Ministry of Public Works office in South Jakarta on Friday (10/4/2026). Dody mentioned that one computer unit was seized. He said the majority of items were taken from the Cipta Karya Directorate General building. “So the many ones were indeed taken from Cipta Karya all,” he said. Dody also confirmed that his office was searched. He also mentioned that Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti’s office was also raided. “Yes (both rooms were searched). So like this, I gave permission to the investigators to search all the rooms in the Ministry of Public Works, because I am also confident that the entire ranks in the Ministry of Public Works also want to show that they are all fine,” Dody said. Dody admitted to being shocked when the Ministry of Public Works and his office were raided. He claimed not to know the details of the case being investigated by the prosecutors. “I was also surprised because during our event yesterday, I was informed that friends from the Prosecutor’s Office came and wanted to conduct a deepening on several cases. I deliberately did not want to ask for more details because I consider it already in the realm of law enforcement apparatus, so I don’t want to get too involved,” he said.
