Jakarta – The Selection Committee for recruitment of Central Information Commission (KIP) members for the 2026–2030 period has invited the public to provide feedback on the track records of 63 candidates who have passed the written thesis selection stage.

“We invite the public to actively participate by submitting feedback regarding the track records of the candidates,” said Fifi Aleyda Yahya, Chairperson of the Selection Committee for recruitment of KIP members for the 2026–2030 period.

“This public participation is very important as part of efforts to ensure the Central Information Commission is staffed by individuals with integrity, competence, and commitment to public information transparency,” Fifi stated in a press statement in Jakarta on Monday.

The Selection Committee noted that public feedback is one of the assessment components in the KIP member recruitment process in accordance with the mandate of Law No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information Transparency.

All submissions from the public will be considered in evaluating the suitability and track records of candidates before proceeding to the next selection stage.

The public can submit feedback with supporting documents to the email address panselkip@komdigi.go.id by 6 March 2026 at the latest.

“We guarantee the confidentiality of every submission received. Transparency and accountability are the core principles in this selection process, including by opening up space for broad public participation,” Fifi said.

The Selection Committee stated that all stages of the KIP member selection process are conducted transparently, objectively, and professionally to present commissioners capable of strengthening public information transparency governance in Indonesia.
