People from various backgrounds crowded the open house at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Saturday (21/3/2026). The attendees included parents, people with disabilities, online motorcycle drivers, and children eager to experience the palace environment directly. The open house was open from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM Western Indonesia Time. From 1:00 PM Western Indonesia Time, the public filled the area and began entering the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta. People with disabilities were given priority to enter first to ensure comfort and smoothness of the event. The palace also served various typical Nusantara dishes that the public could enjoy. Several officers were seen on guard to serve visitors wanting to take food, ensuring the distribution process ran orderly and smoothly. One resident, Amin Hamdani, came with his wife and three children from Parung. He said he had been queuing since 9:00 AM Western Indonesia Time to attend the open house at the palace. “I’m quite happy that the five of us could eat our fill and see what the Presidential Palace atmosphere is like,” Amin told CNBC Indonesia. To manage visitor flow, the palace divided entry routes into several points to avoid congestion. These included through the courtyard of the State Secretariat Ministry on the left wing of the palace complex and the central courtyard of the State Palace, allowing the public to participate in the event more orderly and comfortably.
