Public Enthusiasm for Free Mudik as Pertamina’s Mudik Bareng 2026 Tickets Sell Out
Jakarta — Public enthusiasm and interest in Pertamina’s Mudik Bareng 2026 is very high. People have been scrambling to secure Mudik tickets online via the Mudik Pertamina site since registration opened on 3 March 2026 at 10:00 WIB.
Six hours later, the 5,000-ticket quota was immediately filled. The quota comprises 4,000 outbound Mudik tickets and 1,000 return tickets.
The programme organised by Pertamina provides free Mudik travel, including the return journey, to more than 20 destinations on Java to support smooth mobility ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
Muhammad Baron, Vice President Corporate Communication at Pertamina, expressed appreciation for the high level of trust and participation in the programme.
“We are grateful that the quota was filled on the first day of registration; this shows that Pertamina’s Mudik Bareng programme is popular with the public and motivates us to continue delivering energy for the people,” Baron said in a statement on Thursday, 5 March 2026.
Baron added that Pertamina will ensure all processes run orderly and transparently through the official registration system that has been prepared. Participants who have registered will undergo verification steps in accordance with applicable rules.
The Mudik departure is scheduled for Sunday, 15 March 2026 from Plaza Keong Mas, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta, with destinations including Cirebon, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, and Banyuwangi.
In addition, Pertamina provides return services on 28 March 2026 from four cities—Cirebon, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya—to Jakarta.
“We are prioritising safety and comfort as the foremost considerations. All fleets have undergone operational readiness checks to ensure the journeys of participants are safe and smooth,” Baron added.
