Puan Maharani Signals Follow-Up Meeting with President Prabowo: Insha'Allah Soon

The Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) and Deputy Chair of the PDI Perjuangan Central Executive Board, Puan Maharani, has given a positive signal regarding the proposal for a follow-up meeting with President Prabowo Subianto in the near future. This political communication signal emerged following the warm meeting between PDI Perjuangan General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and the President at Merdeka Palace a few days ago. When asked about plans for the follow-up meeting, Puan affirmed, “Insha’Allah, soon (we will meet again). Please forgive my sins and transgressions, happy Eid,” after attending a halal bihalal event at the PDI Perjuangan DPP Building, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (21/3/2026). On that occasion, Puan also conveyed Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri greetings to all Muslims in Indonesia. “Minal aidin wal-faizin, please forgive my sins and transgressions. Happy Eid to everyone,” she said. She added that the halal bihalal atmosphere was intimate and relaxed. This event served as a warm gathering for party officials, family, and colleagues. “The atmosphere is fine, friendly, relaxed. We are celebrating Eid simply with family and friends,” Puan concluded.
