Puan ensures election law revision prioritises public interest

House of Representatives Speaker Puan Maharani has ensured that the discussion of the revision to the Election Law will prioritise the principles of honesty, justice, and the interests of the people. The statement was delivered after a plenary meeting at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/5). According to Puan, communications regarding the revision of the Election Law have been conducted among factions and political parties. The DPR, together with the government, is also said to continue opening spaces for dialogue in the discussion process.
