PT PP (Persero) Tbk., or PTPP, supports the acceleration of constructing 324 units of decent housing in the Senen area, Central Jakarta. This project forms part of the government’s programme for improving urban settlement areas.

PTPP’s Company Secretary, Joko Raharjo, stated that the company’s involvement represents its commitment to supporting social infrastructure development that directly impacts society.

“We are carrying out this assignment with a spirit of wholehearted service, prioritising quality, safety, and timeliness so that the benefits of the development can be felt as soon as possible,” he said, quoted from a written statement on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.

He added that the housing construction can improve the quality of life for residents while creating a more decent, safe, and organised living environment. Looking ahead, PTPP stated it will continue to support various strategic government programmes, especially those focused on enhancing public welfare.

This housing development is the result of collaboration between the State-Owned Enterprises Management Agency (BP BUMN), Danantara Indonesia, the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Several construction BUMNs are also involved as part of national development synergy.

Previously, the Head of BP BUMN and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, along with Minister of PKP Maruarar Sirait, directly inspected the project site to ensure land readiness and accelerate programme implementation.

As part of the construction BUMNs, PTPP plays a role in supporting the smooth execution of the project by prioritising principles of quality, safety, and timeliness.

President Prabowo Subianto expressed his commitment to building decent housing for residents living along railway tracks in the Senen area. This was stated after he directly inspected the conditions of settlements in the region.

In a visit uploaded to his personal Instagram account, Prabowo was seen traversing the settlement area, approximately 3 kilometres from central Jakarta. He also absorbed the aspirations of local residents.

“Listening to the aspirations of the community there, God willing, we will soon build decent housing for the people in that area quickly,” said Prabowo on Thursday, 26 March 2026.
