PTPP Secures Rp151.9 Billion Contract for ITS Tower 4 Construction

State-owned construction firm PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), a company under the auspices of Danantara Indonesia, has secured a contract worth Rp151.9 billion for the construction of Tower 4 at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). The project is targeted for completion within 365 calendar days, with a maintenance period of 360 calendar days. PTPP Corporate Secretary Joko Raharjo stated in Jakarta on Tuesday that the company is committed to delivering the best construction works that provide added value for society and national development. “We are committed to supporting the development of quality and sustainable educational infrastructure. The construction of ITS Tower 4 is part of the company’s contribution to creating a modern educational ecosystem to support the improvement of Indonesia’s human resources,” Joko said. The company is also undertaking the second phase of the Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN) campus development in Batu City, which includes academic facilities, student dormitories, and the installation of solar panels as part of a sustainable development concept. Furthermore, PTPP has contributed to the construction of various facilities, including the State University of Malang campus, the Airlangga University Campus B in Surabaya, and the Diponegoro University Twin Tower project in Semarang. Drawing on its experience and capabilities, the company is optimistic that the ITS Tower 4 project will be completed on time while prioritising quality, occupational safety, construction innovation, and sustainability principles. “The presence of adequate educational infrastructure is expected to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia’s young generation and expand access to quality higher education,” Joko added. The project also supports the implementation of the Asta Cita vision, particularly in strengthening human resource development, improving the quality of national education, and promoting the mastery of science and technology as a foundation towards the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
