PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), a national construction and investment company under the auspices of Danantara Indonesia, has strengthened its contribution to social infrastructure through the acquisition of the Mamuju Tengah Regency Regional Hospital construction project. This project is part of a national effort to ensure the equitable distribution of healthcare services, specifically by expanding access to modern and high-quality medical facilities in regions outside primary growth centres.

Owned by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the project has a contract value of Rp143.09 billion (including VAT). The construction period is set for 240 calendar days, or approximately eight months, followed by a maintenance period of 365 calendar days.

The development of the Regional Hospital aims to increase healthcare capacity by upgrading the facility’s classification from Type D to Type C. Once completed, the hospital facilities will support more comprehensive medical services, including outpatient care, inpatient care, emergency departments (IGD), and other medical support installations.

Securing this project is part of PTPP’s commitment to supporting national development equality, particularly within the healthcare sector. Mamuju Tengah Regency, located in West Sulawesi, requires strengthened public service infrastructure to sustainably improve the quality of life for its residents. The presence of a more representative Regional Hospital is expected to provide faster, more modern, and more equitable access to healthcare for the local community.

Furthermore, the hospital construction aligns with the priority programmes of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration, which focuses on strengthening the quality of basic public services, expanding healthcare access, and accelerating the development of a healthy and productive Indonesian human resource base. Healthcare infrastructure serves as a vital foundation for supporting public service transformation and strengthening national social resilience.

PTPP Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, stated that the Mamuju Tengah Regional Hospital project is a tangible form of the company’s contribution to improving public quality of life through high-quality healthcare infrastructure.

“PTPP is committed to delivering construction that provides a direct impact on society. Through the Mamuju Tengah Regional Hospital project, the company hopes to support the improvement of healthcare service quality while strengthening the distribution of public facilities across various regions of Indonesia,” said Joko Raharjo.

PTPP possesses extensive experience in constructing various healthcare facilities in Indonesia, including both government hospitals and modern medical centres. With its established expertise and capability, the company is optimistic that this project will be completed on schedule, prioritising construction quality, occupational safety, and sustainability principles.
