PTPP Secures Construction Project for Mamuju Tengah Regional Hospital
PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) has secured a contract for the construction of the Mamuju Tengah Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in West Sulawesi, valued at Rp143.09 billion. The project, undertaken for the Ministry of Health, aims to increase regional healthcare service capacity by upgrading the hospital from a Type D to a Type C facility.
PTPP Corporate Secretary Joko Raharjo stated that the project has an execution period of 240 calendar days, or approximately eight months. “This Ministry of Health project has a contract value of Rp143.09 billion, including VAT, with an execution period of 240 calendar days and a maintenance period of 365 calendar days,” Joko said in a written statement in Jakarta.
According to Joko, the construction of the Mamuju Tengah Regional Hospital is part of a programme to enhance healthcare service capacity in regional areas. Once completed, the hospital is expected to provide more comprehensive services, ranging from outpatient and inpatient care to emergency departments and various medical support facilities.
Joko noted that the need for healthcare infrastructure in several regions remains a challenge, including in the developing Mamuju Tengah Regency. Therefore, increasing hospital capacity is considered vital to expanding public access to adequate healthcare services.
