PT PP (Persero) Tbk supports the development of educational infrastructure initiated by the Ministry of Public Works as part of the government’s Asta Cita programme. PTPP’s Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, stated that the company has recorded solid performance acceleration in implementing the Sekolah Rakyat Provinsi Aceh 1 project, with progress exceeding targets. “This performance strengthens PTPP’s optimism in completing the project on time while affirming the company’s capacity as a main contractor,” Joko said in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (28/4/2026). Joko explained that the project, with a contract value of Rp782.30 billion, has reached 39.02% progress, exceeding the target by 7.35%. He noted that this achievement reflects the effectiveness of measured planning and construction execution, as well as PTPP’s ability to maintain consistent field productivity. “As a strategic project spread across three regions—Aceh Besar, Bireuen, and Lhokseumawe—the construction covers around 23 building units at each location with heights of one to two storeys,” Joko said. Joko conveyed that the scale and complexity of the project drive the implementation of integrated cross-regional coordination and precise material distribution management to ensure smoothness in all work stages. To maintain progress acceleration, PTPP is implementing various construction innovations, including the use of GRC formwork as an alternative to block formwork, the application of rigid pavement methods, substitution of reinforced concrete structures with steel structures, and the utilisation of material distribution tracking systems. “These innovations have proven effective in increasing efficiency while accelerating project completion time,” Joko continued. Joko hopes that the construction of Sekolah Rakyat Provinsi Aceh 1 can provide modern, safe, and sustainable educational facilities for the community. In addition, this project also contributes to improving the quality of human resources and driving local economic activity through the absorption of labour and the use of local resources. “The progress achievement exceeding the target is concrete evidence of the project’s effective implementation,” he said. He stated that this achievement strengthens the company’s optimism to complete the project on time while prioritising quality and work safety. Together with the Ministry of Public Works, PTPP is committed to ensuring that every work stage runs optimally and provides real benefits to the community. “With consistently maintained progress exceeding targets, PTPP is optimistic that the Sekolah Rakyat Provinsi Aceh 1 project can be completed according to schedule and become one of the embodiments of successful quality educational infrastructure development in Indonesia,” Joko said.
