PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV (PTPN IV) PalmCo, a sub-holding of PTPN III (Persero), has posted a net profit of Rp7.08 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year, based on its audited financial statements. The figure represents a 90.3 percent increase compared to the Rp3.72 trillion net profit recorded in 2024, according to President Director Jatmiko K. Santosa. The financial performance was presented to shareholders during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the 2025 fiscal year. The company attributed the profit surge to increased crude palm oil (CPO) production, operational efficiencies, and strengthened business fundamentals that delivered added value despite global economic challenges, energy market volatility, and climate anomalies throughout 2025. Jatmiko noted that the average CPO selling price in 2025 reached Rp14,223 per kilogramme, 10.4 percent higher than the previous year, and the company capitalised on this momentum through higher sales volumes and cost control. He emphasised that cost management and production increases formed the backbone of the company, enabling a 10 percent price rise to generate a 90 percent profit leap. Since its establishment three years ago, PalmCo’s net profit has grown exponentially, from Rp2.53 trillion in 2023 to Rp3.72 trillion in 2024, and now to Rp7.08 trillion in 2025, marking the highest profitability during its transformation period. EBITDA rose 46 percent to Rp13.27 trillion, while return on assets reached 9.2 percent. Operationally, CPO production increased 7.87 percent to 2.70 million tonnes. The company also stated it was the most active nationally in the People’s Palm Oil Replanting Programme, assisting 6,672 hectares, with partner smallholders achieving productivity of 20.18 tonnes of fresh fruit bunches per hectare per year, above the national standard. PalmCo plans to continue developing downstream palm oil industries, including optimising derivative products as raw materials for renewable biogasoline to support national energy security.
