PTPN IV PalmCo secures three governance awards from Holding PTPN III
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) IV PalmCo has won three awards at the One PTPN Group Town Hall Meeting 2026, organised by Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero), in recognition of the company’s performance.
President Director of PTPN IV PalmCo, Jatmiko K Santosa, said the awards were the result of the governance transformation the company has continued to pursue in order to strengthen operational effectiveness and competitiveness in the plantation industry.
“These three awards are a representation of the dedication and hard work of every element at PTPN IV PalmCo. This achievement demonstrates that the company’s managerial system is running solidly and supporting the creation of added value across all operational lines,” Jatmiko said in an official statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday.
At the event, attended by all entities within the PTPN Group, PalmCo won three of the seven award categories: Excellence in Risk Management, Excellence in Execution Speed, and Excellence in Cost Effectiveness.
The assessment was based on performance indicators set by Holding PTPN III (Persero), through comparison of performance data and factual verification of all participants.
The Excellence in Risk Management award was granted based on an assessment of the company’s risk management, covering residual risk achievement, Key Risk Indicators (KRI), the Quality of Risk Management Implementation (KPMR), and the level of risk management maturity reflected in the Risk Maturity Index (RMI).
Meanwhile, the Excellence in Execution Speed award was given for the company’s ability to execute strategic programmes effectively, with assessment based on the average percentage of programme realisation throughout 2025.
The Excellence in Cost Effectiveness award was earned on the basis of average annual growth in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) margin over the 2024–2025 period, which was judged to reflect the company’s ability to manage costs whilst maintaining operational effectiveness.
Previously, the company recorded crude palm oil (CPO) productivity of 2.14 tonnes per hectare in the first half of 2026. The CPO yield rate from plantations rose to 23.48 per cent, while the company pressed the cash cost of palm oil commodity down to Rp3,707 per kilogram through cost controls and improved operational efficiency.
Meanwhile, the company’s EBITDA reached Rp6.05 trillion, growing 29 per cent year on year, whilst total assets rose 6 per cent to Rp81.57 trillion in the first half of 2026.
Jatmiko said the three aspects were interlinked in maintaining the company’s competitiveness amid the dynamics of the plantation industry.
“Speed in executing strategic programmes must be balanced with discipline in risk management and cost control. The combination of the three forms the foundation for the company to maintain performance whilst strengthening governance,” he said.
He said the company would continue to conduct evaluations, drive innovation and strengthen collaboration so as to contribute to the PTPN Group’s targets, including supporting food security, energy security and the development of national downstream industries.
Earlier, the company booked consolidated (unaudited) net profit of Rp3.23 trillion in the first half of 2026, an increase of 54 per cent year on year. Revenue also grew 11 per cent to Rp23.41 trillion, with crude palm oil (CPO) sales contributing Rp19.36 trillion to total revenue.
