PTPN IV PalmCo Posts Rp3.23 Trillion Net Profit in First Half of 2026
State-owned plantation subholding PTPN IV PalmCo posted a consolidated net profit of Rp3.23 trillion for the first half of 2026, marking a 54 per cent year-on-year increase. President Director Jatmiko K. Santosa said the bottom-line growth was driven by revenue reaching Rp23.41 trillion, buoyed by a positive trend in crude palm oil (CPO) sales. CPO sales contributed Rp19.36 trillion, supported by increased sales volume in both domestic and export markets, as well as a higher average selling price. The company’s CPO productivity reached 2.14 tonnes per hectare, while the CPO extraction rate from its own plantations rose to 23.48 per cent. Jatmiko noted that standardisation of work processes was key to these operational improvements. Cash cost for the palm oil commodity was successfully reduced to Rp3,707 per kilogramme, helping to protect profit margins from inflationary pressures and other external challenges. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 29 per cent year-on-year to Rp6.05 trillion, while total assets increased to Rp81.57 trillion. Beyond palm oil, the company’s coffee business contributed a net profit of Rp2.49 billion, despite a strategic decision to delay some harvests to ensure premium quality. Looking ahead, PTPN IV PalmCo plans to accelerate its fertiliser programme in the second half of the year and continue supporting national energy resilience by securing feedstock for renewable biogasoline development. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to the smallholder oil palm replanting programme to boost national CPO production and productivity.
