Jakarta — PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) is ensuring smooth logistics distribution during the 2026 Lebaran transport period by maintaining optimal port operations throughout Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.

“This commitment is part of the company’s efforts to maintain smooth cargo flow and support the continuity of the national logistics chain,” said Dwi Rahmad Toto S, Commercial and Business Development Director and Acting Operations Director of PTP Nonpetikemas, in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.

As part of the Pelindo Group, the company plays a strategic role in supporting national logistics distribution, particularly in bulk liquid cargo, dry bulk cargo, and general cargo loading and unloading services across its operational areas.

All port activities will continue operating normally around the clock throughout Ramadan and Lebaran 2026. “Ship loading and unloading operations will continue to maintain smooth cargo flow and ensure national logistics distribution remains secure,” Toto said.

To support operational continuity, the company has prepared human resources, operational equipment, and service support systems across its 11 operational ports throughout Indonesia. All port activities are supported by 24-hour daily operations to ensure loading, unloading, receiving, and delivery activities proceed safely, smoothly, and in accordance with applicable service standards.

According to Toto, during the Lebaran period, logistics distribution activities are expected to increase, particularly ahead of traffic management arrangements for goods transport and after the Lebaran return journey concludes.

The company is strengthening coordination with various stakeholders, including port authorities, security personnel, and business partners to anticipate potential increases in operational activities. PTP Nonpetikemas Banten Branch and Panjang Branch are also contributing to supporting smooth mudik (homecoming) flows and logistics distribution during Lebaran.

At Banten Branch, which operates at Ciwandan Port in Cilegon, the port facility will resume operations as an alternative crossing route for motorcycles and logistics trucks to Sumatra from 11 March 2026. Three Ro-Ro ship berths and vehicle buffer areas have been prepared to help reduce congestion at Merak Port whilst ensuring vehicle mobility and logistics distribution continue smoothly.

Meanwhile, PTP Nonpetikemas Panjang Branch in Lampung also serves as an important hub in supporting smooth logistics flow to Sumatra. Panjang Port is being prepared as an alternative route for receiving motorcyclists from Jakarta whilst maintaining its primary function of serving distribution of various strategic commodities.

With berth support, stacking areas, and operational facilities operating 24 hours daily, this branch ensures smooth cargo flow and supports public mobility during the Lebaran mudik period. Under the Directorate General of Land Transport Decision from the Ministry of Transport Number AJ.201/2/5/DJPD/2026, commercial transport operations restrictions will be implemented from 13–29 March 2026.

This policy aims to prioritise important logistics distribution such as fuel or gas, livestock, fertiliser, natural disaster relief supplies, and other essential goods. Fiona Sari Utami, Senior Manager of Company Secretary at PTP Nonpetikemas, added that the company prioritises occupational health and safety (K3) and compliance with operational procedures in all service activities.

“We continue to strengthen synergy with various stakeholders so that traffic management and port activities can operate optimally during the Lebaran period,” Fiona said. Through these various measures, PTP Nonpetikemas hopes to continue providing excellent service and become a trusted partner for service users in supporting smooth national logistics distribution.
