PTP Non-Container Records Positive Performance, July 2026 Throughput Rises 17.85% Year-on-Year

As part of the Pelindo Group, PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Non-Container) continues to strengthen its operational performance, with throughput in 2026 reaching 31.39 million tonnes/m³, or 108.54% of the target up to July 2026.

Jakarta (ANTARA) — PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok, or PTP Non-Container, part of the Pelindo Group, continued to record positive performance through to July 2026. This performance was reflected in realised throughput of 108.54% of target, whilst also growing 17.85% year-on-year compared with the same period last year.

Between January and July 2026, PTP Non-Container recorded total throughput of 31.39 million tonnes/m³, or 108.54% of the target up to July 2026. The figure also represents growth of 17.85% compared with the same period in July 2025, which stood at 26.64 million tonnes/m³. The achievement was contributed by four main cargo groups: general cargo at 7.75 million tonnes/m³, bag cargo at 1.58 million tonnes, liquid bulk at 7.54 million tonnes, and dry bulk at 14.51 million tonnes.

PTP Non-Container Chief Executive Indra Hidayat Sani said the growth demonstrates the company’s consistency in improving service quality and terminal productivity through ongoing operational transformation.

“The achievements up to July 2026 provide momentum for us to maintain our growth. PTP Non-Container continues to optimise operations, strengthen collaboration with service users and stakeholders, and ensure terminal services that are increasingly effective, safe and integrated,” said Indra.

The performance growth was also supported by several branches that recorded throughput above target. Pontianak and Kijing recorded realisation of around 3.85 million tonnes/m³, or 163.13% of target, whilst Panjang booked approximately 3.55 million tonnes/m³, or 119.96% of target. Positive performance was also seen at Tanjung Priok, with realised throughput of around 10.43 million tonnes/m³, or 112.89% of target up to July 2026. Meanwhile, Cirebon booked around 2.45 million tonnes/m³, equivalent to 107.68% of target, Teluk Bayur recorded realisation of 3.51 million tonnes/m³, or 104.44% of target, and Pangkal Balam achieved approximately 1.02 million tonnes/m³, or 103.43% of target.

Beyond traffic growth, PTP Non-Container continues to strengthen the company’s fundamentals through improved productivity, optimisation of loading and unloading facilities and equipment, and stronger operational governance across all branches. This forms part of the company’s efforts to maintain service quality whilst enhancing the competitiveness of non-container terminals.

Indra added that the company’s performance growth is directed not only at pursuing volume increases, but also at ensuring every operational process delivers added value for service users and supports the smooth running of the national logistics chain. “The transformation we are pursuing must have a tangible impact on the speed and quality of services, thereby providing added value for service users in a sustainable manner,” he added.
