PT TASPEN Disburses Rp9.7 Trillion to Retirees 12 Days Before Eid al-Fitr

Batam (ANTARA) - PT TASPEN (Persero) successfully disbursed the Hari Raya Allowance (THR) totaling Rp9.7 trillion to 3.2 million pensioners, with 97 percent of recipients having received THR 12 days before Eid al-Fitr. TASPEN’s President Commissioner Fary Francis, who also serves as Deputy Head of the Batam Development Authority (BP Batam), conducted a direct inspection at the TASPEN Medan Branch Office and Medan Post Office as payment partners. ‘The President’s directive is clear: there must be no delay in THR payments because this concerns the people’s needs. TASPEN ensures the rights of pensioners are fulfilled quickly and accurately,’ Fary said in a written statement received in Batam on Friday. The visit, he said, aims to ensure the disbursement process runs smoothly while also hearing directly the experiences of pensioners. The acceleration is supported by TASPEN’s digital transformation of services, which has reduced administrative processes from 3 days to only 1 day. Compared with the previous year, the payment process was also faster. He said that in 2025 payments were made 10 days before Eid al-Fitr, and in 2026 it was completed 12 days before Eid al-Fitr, making it one of the fastest payment processes in TASPEN’s history. A retiree Kasmiwati expressed gratitude for the faster payment. ‘Praise be to God, this year’s THR was received more quickly. This greatly helps for family needs, including paying my grandchild’s tuition,’ she said. Under the supervision of the Board of Commissioners, TASPEN is also strengthening its digital transformation through the TASPEN Dashboard (TasBoard), which enables real-time monitoring of service performance and speeds up follow-up actions to the Board’s strategic directives.
