PT Sri Langka joins International Exhibition Logistics Associates (IELA)
In the world of international exhibitions and projects, nerves are wrung raw with the stress of organizing exhibits and projects, from their arrival to being handled and set up properly.
Organizations dealing in handling international exhibitors and projects know and understand the responsibility invested in them by exhibitors.
To develop cooperation among similar companies for top-quality services, International Exhibition Logistics Associates (IELA) has formally accepted a new member.
At a recent meeting, the Board of the International Exhibition Logistics Associates accepted PT Sri Langka Jakarta into the fold.
The International Exhibition Logistics Associates was formed in 1985 to develop top-quality standards of performance relating to shipping, forwarding, customs clearance and on-site handling for international exhibitions.
Exhibitors having to send their show material expect and demand high standards of performance. The goods being sent are, of course, a large part of what makes an international exhibition or project successful.
International Exhibition Logistics Associates now comprises over 78 members from 38 countries, all expecting and giving top quality performances.
The work that the International Exhibition Logistics Associates undertakes is completely voluntary.
Work is handled by committees under the direction of a Board of Directors. This Board is elected biennially.
The various committees are dedicated to success in their given categories, which are:
* Customs
* Organizers
* Public Relations
* Recruiting
* Standards and Ethics
* Training and Technology
Together with their standards of performance, the committees' objectives are to ensure a smooth interchange of information between organizers, exhibitors, show managers and international forwarding contractors.
By its depths, strength and spread of membership, the International Exhibition Logistics Associates contributes directly to the efficiency of worldwide exhibition and project participation.
PT Sri Langka
PT Sri Langka was established in 1957 and, since 1980, began concentrating its core business in exhibition and project logistics.
After its first successful project in exhibition logistics in 1981 -- the Rolls Royce Show -- PT Sri Langka handled various small-to-big scale exhibition and project logistics every year.
A total of over 210 exhibitions and projects have successfully been handled to date.
Supported by an accomplished staff, who have gained years of experience in dealing with exhibitions and projects, a network of overseas connections, and sufficient self-owned working tools and heavy-lifter vehicles, PT Sri Langka is ensuring that it gives the best services to exhibitions and projects ever provided in the business.
