PT SBI teams up with Peruri to mint physical IDN Gold coins
Jakarta — PT Smart Billionaire Indonesia (SBI), the official licensee of the IDN Gold (IDNG) digital gold investment platform, has entered into a collaboration with Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (Peruri) for the printing of physical gold coins.
Chief Executive Jeremy Siregar said the collaboration with Peruri demonstrates IDN Gold’s commitment to providing tangible, secure assets for its users.
‘The gold in our system is minted exclusively by Peruri to be formed into coins. The availability of physical gold is the guarantee for all trades of traders and investors active on the IDN Gold platform. In other words, the gold asset on IDN Gold is real and fully redeemable in the form of physical gold coins,’ Jeremy said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
For information, IDN Gold is a platform providing the buying and selling of digital assets, currently available on Bi-Finance and Coinstore. The IDN Gold ecosystem operates on the Sui network, has strategic partnerships with CertiK, and is listed on a Decentralized Exchange (DEX).
Jeremy explained that the physical IDN Gold gold coins are designed to meet diverse crypto investor needs. The minted coins are divided into four denominations, starting from 1 gram, 2 gram, 5 gram, and 10 gram, with a uniform and elegant design.
‘Through the collaboration with Peruri, IDN Gold hopes to provide a higher level of trust and security for traders and investors engaging with the world of crypto and blockchain, particularly within the IDN Gold ecosystem,’ said Jeremy.
Peruri is regarded as having the capacity and capability to produce metal-based products to the highest security standards.
As a form of strengthening authentication and absolute protection of the product, every IDN Gold physical coin minted by Peruri is equipped with high-security features, including invisible ink.
