PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) said its financial performance in the third quarter of 2026 included net revenue of Rp2.41 trillion, a 17.2 per cent increase from Rp2.06 trillion in the same period last year.

Chief Financial Officer Sinta Ningsih said the growth was supported by its Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services, which now operate in Indonesia and Australia.

“Revenue growth of 17.2 per cent, accompanied by a 29.9 per cent increase in gross profit and a 91.5 per cent reduction in operating losses, reflects the growing strength of our integrated manufacturing business model and CDMO services,” Sinta said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Overall, she said, performance through the third quarter of 2026 showed an improvement in the quality of growth, not merely its scale. The company’s gross profit rose 29.9 per cent to Rp542.76 billion from Rp417.86 billion, outpacing revenue growth.

Sinta said the improvement continued at the operating level. The company’s EBITDA reached Rp239.9 billion, up considerably from Rp8.8 billion in the same period last year. Depreciation and amortisation totalled Rp252.7 billion, largely related to assets acquired from Probiotec, while financial expenses stood at Rp322.4 billion.

As a result, the company still recorded a loss for the period of Rp338.7 billion, although this was 7.4 per cent lower than in the corresponding period last year. After foreign currency translation differences, the comprehensive loss narrowed by 27.8 per cent to Rp221.4 billion.

“Results through the third quarter of 2026 show that the integration of our expansion strategy and operational efficiencies over the past two years is on the right track,” she said.

In September 2026, the company received marketing authorisation from Indonesia’s Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) for Fenofibrate 145 mg, a product focused on treating lipid disorders and preventing cardiovascular problems.

The product expands the company’s cardiovascular therapy portfolio. According to BPJS Kesehatan data for January to September 2026, spending on heart disease reached Rp17.35 trillion and spending on stroke Rp7.21 trillion. The product’s contribution is expected to become evident in the coming period as distribution progresses.

The CDMO capabilities supporting the company’s performance have been developed gradually since its acquisition of Probiotec and the launch of CDMO services in 2024.

The company’s facility in Australia has obtained a licence from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), opening access to export markets with international standards.

The company has also completed the expansion of Sterile Injection Line 3 at PT Ethica Industri Farmasi. Commercial production is targeted to begin in 2027 to optimise installed capacity and generate revenue from CDMO services.

“We are not only expanding the scale of our business in domestic and regional markets, but also consistently improving our operating cost structure to accelerate the company’s path to profitability,” she added.
