PT PP (Persero) Tbk, or PTPP, has launched four strategic programmes focused on restoring vital infrastructure and sanitation for communities in the Bireuen, Pidie Jaya, and Peusangan regions of Aceh province. Corporate Secretary of PTPP, Joko Raharjo, stated that these activities are part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

“PTPP is present not only during the emergency phase but also in the subsequent recovery phase, addressing the basic needs of the community, especially in terms of sanitation, access to clean water, and public facilities,” he said in a written statement on Tuesday, 24 February 2026.

The four programmes include the repair of mosques, the restoration of water installations, the construction of hygienic public toilets, and the repair of other public facilities affected by the floods. The implementation of these programmes took place from 4 to 14 February 2026, demonstrating the company’s commitment to accelerating recovery and supporting the community in returning to normal life.

Through its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility programme, PTPP states that it is contributing to the recovery and improvement of the quality of life for communities in various regions of Indonesia. The company is not only focused on construction projects that are oriented towards infrastructure development. “We understand that post-disaster recovery requires ongoing support,” said Joko Raharjo.

The assistance provided in this programme is a continuation of the company’s cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works through the construction of emergency infrastructure, the installation of Bailey-type bridges to restore access between regions, and the construction of temporary housing in several affected areas in Aceh and North Sumatra.
