PT Pos Indonesia guarantees that the company’s operations will continue to run smoothly following the resignation of President Director Daud Joseph, amidst the ongoing corporate transformation agenda.

PT Pos Indonesia Corporate Secretary Iwan Gunawan stated in Bandung, West Java, on Thursday that the management of the nation’s oldest logistics state-owned enterprise (SOE) confirmed that the official resignation letter was submitted on Thursday (2/7), based on the individual’s personal considerations.

Iwan emphasised that although the resignation may appear sudden, the company ensures there will be no disruption to public services or field business performance.

“PT Pos Indonesia respects this decision and expresses its highest appreciation and gratitude for the dedication, service, and contribution provided during his leadership,” said Iwan.

Iwan guaranteed that the leadership transition mechanism will be executed strictly in accordance with the principles of Good Corporate Governance.

“While this process is underway, PT Pos Indonesia ensures that the company’s operational activities continue to run and do not disrupt the service process for all stakeholders,” he added.

This commitment is crucial as Pos Indonesia currently holds a strategic mandate from shareholders under the Danantara umbrella to continue maturing financial performance and pursuing pre-planned business expansions.

Iwan added that the entire management team, from the central to the regional levels, continues to work according to their respective functions to safeguard the company’s annual targets.

“PT Pos Indonesia affirms that current operational conditions remain smooth and stable. The implementation of all transformation programmes and the company’s strategic agendas continues according to plan,” said Iwan.
