PT Pesonna Optima Jasa, part of the Pegadaian Group, has provided 250 vehicles to support a collaboration with PT Trans Optima Perkasa (TOP). The partnership aims to create job opportunities for the public through a driver partnership scheme.

Director of PT Pesonna Optima Jasa, Ferry Hariawan, detailed that of the total 250 units, 200 are internal combustion engine (ICE) Daihatsu cars and the remaining 50 are electric vehicles (EV). The cooperation officially commenced on 1 July 2026.

“We are providing approximately 250 cars to be partnered with drivers,” Ferry said during a visit to PT Trans Optima Perkasa in South Tangerang on Monday (10/8). He added that public interest has been very high, evidenced by the number of registrants reaching 400 people, exceeding the current unit availability.

A rigorous selection process will be conducted by TOP to ensure driver partners meet service standards. The programme is supported by Daihatsu, BYD, and Pegadaian through financing support from the Amanah Fleet product.

Beyond the business aspect, the collaboration includes welfare and financial education programmes. Pegadaian plans to provide gold investment education to driver partners via the Tring digital application. This step is expected to help partners prepare for their financial future and their children’s education.

Ferry also praised the driver management system at TOP, which uses an analytics system to monitor driving behaviour. This is done to ensure occupational safety and prevent excessive driver fatigue.

As an expression of gratitude for the start of the collaboration, both parties held a social event providing compensation to orphans around the Pondok Cabe operational area. Ferry affirmed the company’s commitment to delivering benefits to the communities surrounding their business areas.
