In the multi-purpose Pinisi ship construction project, PT PAL is responsible for ensuring material standards, quality control, and quality assurance proceed according to project needs. Meanwhile, PT IKI focuses on the physical construction of the ship. Suhan Ikhsan assured that PT IKI will deploy all its best capabilities for the smooth and successful execution of the project. He also appreciated PT PAL’s initiative in involving PT IKI in the national shipyard consolidation efforts. “We hope that through this project, technology sharing and knowledge sharing can proceed optimally. Thus, under PAL’s leadership, all national shipyards, especially IKI, can continue to grow and contribute to realising Indonesia’s maritime sovereignty,” said Suhan Ikhsan. For information, on Saturday, PT PAL Indonesia signed a contract with the South Sulawesi Provincial Government for the construction of the multi-purpose Pinisi ship.
